WHY DKD?: The three main reasons I picked DKD are the sisterhood, the cultural aspect, and the focus on service. As a smaller sorority, you get the chance to form a unique bond with each sister which is something that would not be possible with a larger organization. I was also drawn to the cultural aspect of DKD, and I have found myself much more aware of the various cultures and events around campus because of it. Finally, the focus on service is what sets DKD apart from other sororities and is what made this organization stand out to me. Giving back to the community is so important, and being a sister makes doing service much easier and fun.
